Anyone who resides, owns property, or is employed in the state of Texas may obtain a free library card at the Moore Memorial Public Library. Children under 14 must have an adult signature.
You must show some kind of identification (driver's license, check book, utility bill, etc.) with your current address. You may print an application form. (Adobe Acrobat is required.

Renewals may be done by phone at 409-643-5975, or online. You must enter your library card number <pmml0000xxxxxx> and the pin number which is your birthdate <mmddyyyy>.
To place a hold, you can call 409-643-5975 or online. For instructions on placing a hold online, click here. You must enter your library card number (no spaces) <pmmlxxxxxxxxxx> and the pin number which is your birthdate <mmddyyyy>.
Replacement Cards are $2.00. Cost of replacement of an item if lost or damaged beyond repair plus a $5.00 processing fee. (Materials will not be accepted in lieu of cash.)
Refunds (for materials paid for and then found) may be made within one year of the date indicated on the borrower's receipt. Refunds may be made when the lost item is accompanied by the original receipt. However, processing charges and fines are non-refundable.

- Print Materials: Popular fiction, non-fiction, children's materials, magazines, large print books, Cliffs Notes, dictionaries (assorted languages), language learning handbooks, study guides (i.e. GED, ASVAB)
- CDs: Music and audio books
- Cassettes: Language learning tapes, audio books
- Video Cassettes & DVDs: Self-help, educational, travel, exercice, children's videos and entertainment films
- Books in Spanish: Fiction and non-fiction books
* Patrons can check out up to 4 books per subject (i.e. math) and up to 6 videos at a time.
Materials can be returned inside the library book drop or outside the drop box located against the wall.
