Do you attend Blocker Middle School or High School?
Will you be entering grades 7-12? Do you have required summer reading? Well if the answer is "yes" to all of the above questions, then this is the perfect summer program for you!
Starting June 2nd come to the circulation desk at the library and check out your required summer reading title, read the book, come to the scheduled book discussion and you get to keep your book. That's right! You get TO KEEP YOUR BOOK. Just think, a relaxed book discussion with your classmates, a free book to doodle in of your own, and being prepared with your required reading when school starts, what more could you ask for?
All the book discussions will take place in August. On June 1, the library will post the schedule of book titles corresponding with the list below. the schedule will be posted at the library and on the library's web site, or by calling the reference desk at (409) 643-5977. Be sure to check your book or books out early in the summer because there are a limited number of copies available.
